The Art of Dreamweaving

Manifest Your Vision for 2012!

People sometimes ask me, "Is it always true that we create our own reality?" I usually answer, "It depends."

At the most basic level of existence, there is one Ultimate Reality and one Ultimate Truth. That Ultimate Reality is known by various names and labels depending on who you ask: Shamans call it the Great Spirit That Moves Through All Things; Yogis call it Brahman -- the Absolute, the Truth, the Light and the Way; quantum physicists call it the Unified Field. By whatever name you call it, this All-Pervasive Substratum of Existence gives rise to the world of forms that we experience in our daily lives.

There is a principle of consciousness that says, "Whatever is true for you, is true (for you)." That does not necessarily mean that what is true for you is also true for everyone else. One of the greatest freedoms we have as human beings is the freedom to choose our thoughts, and the thoughts we choose to think give rise to the reality that we ultimately experience. There are an estimated 6.9 billion human beings on Planet Earth, and each person creates a different reality for himself or herself. In a sense, we exists in 6.9 billion parallel universes - each of which is each person's own individual creation. When individuals come together in groups, each group also creates a collective consciousness based on the collective content of the group's thoughts. The reality that the group experiences and attracts depends upon the sum-total of the thoughts of the group.

Either individually or collectively, if we create a world in which we are the creators of our reality, that is what we experience. Likewise, if we create a world in which outside forces beyond our influence act upon us and the universe at large to give rise to the events of our lives, that is what we experience.

The Shamans of Old knew this Great Secret and called the process of creating our own reality "Dreamweaving." Dreamweaving is a natural spiritual ability that we all have and may utilize to shape our world. Here are some basic principles of Dreamweaving that you can put into practice to create an extraordinary 2012:

1.    Choose thoughts that empower the reality you would like to experience. "I live in a Benevolent Universe of Abundance that freely and joyfully prospers me. My Path is easy and my burden is Light. Life is a joyous, fun and expansive experience. I create my own reality and rejoice in this Grand Adventure of Life!"
2.    Be mindful of your speech and speak only those words that empower your desired reality. Every word we speak has power. Our speech brings our thoughts from the formless ethers into the world of form. Speech is the Bridge between formlessness and form. And God said, "Let there be Light," and there was Light .... Speech is the Power that forged Universes and also the Power that creates our own personal universe. Carefully choose your words.
3.    Withdraw your energy from thoughts and groups that are not in alignment with your desired results. Be particularly mindful of mass media and the influence it may have upon your thoughts; manage your media intake wisely. At this time of year, we also tend to spend a lot of time with our families; be compassionately aware of energizing family patterns that may not be in alignment with your desired direction of growth. Lovingly choose not to engage in family dynamics that may have become unhealthy for you or that energize limited ways of thinking.
4.    Choose to associate yourself with groups that support and empower your growth. Groups have a collective energy that is more powerful than the sum of their parts. Come together with like-minded Brothers and Sisters to support one another on your Journey of Conscious Creation! Life is more fun with playmates with whom we can celebrate our existence!

By following these simple steps, you will experience your life begin to transform and your desired reality begin to take shape.
