Divine Connection

Several years ago I went through a period of illness where I was sick for about a year.  I was unable to work.  I was in dire financial condition.  And during that time, the way I usually connect to God and the angels went away and disappeared.  Many of you will go through this or are going through this where the way you always experienced God or the angels somehow goes away.

Or perhaps now you’re in a state where you are yearning for a deeper connection to God and to the angels.  Whatever it is for you, I encourage you to have patience and let your desire for this connection grow.  Let it come forward.  Let it even be a little troublesome; in other words, let the intensity of the desire for connection with God and the angels rise to the surface and guide your life.

For some of you it might be a very intense desire.  For some of you it might be more of an undercurrent.  And for some of you it may be like a nagging mother calling to you.

Notice how your desire is calling to you.  Your desire represents an invitation from the angels.

If you feel attracted to angels, if you have a curiosity about them, or if you are already working with angels and you want more, this is a sign from your soul that you are being guided into the embrace of these divine beings. One of the greatest benedictions that you can have in life is this desire for greater connection with spirit.

Some of you ask, “What is the best way for you to connect with angels?”  There are some basic ways that we can always use to connect with the angels.  A powerful way to connect is through prayer.  Prayer is the asking.  We go into prayer to talk with God in conversation.

Talk to God and the angels as if you are talking with your most trusted friend and confidant. Share what’s happening in your life. Don’t be afraid to talk about what’s troubling you.  Share the desires of your soul with the angels and ask for the help you need in life.

Even in the depths of your darkest moments, you can connect with that sincere desire to know God’s presence and receive help.  No matter how dire and difficult your circumstances, you can find that sincere part of your soul that is asking for a connection with something greater than yourself.  Your sincere desire will allow the help to come in to fill your heart.

Asking and sharing our hearts creates connection with angels and with God.
