Joyce Stech:
Stress and Money Crunches
Sacred Geometry for Money Crunches
by Joyce Stech
Is there anything more stressful than paying bills? Did this ever happen to you? You are financially doing pretty well. You finally have gotten yourself to a place where you are managing your money and then POW the furnace needs replacement, you throw a rod in your car, your child decides they have to go to an expensive ivy league school.
Let’s handle money crunches and use sacred geometry to make that fact of life easier to handle.
If you have never experienced a money crunch, I applaud you and you can skip this section. I define money crunch as a situation that occurs when an unexpected cash expense comes that was not in the budget. A personal example occurred to yours truly recently. During a downpour, a surge of water developed in the creek close to our house that took out, literally washed away the driveway, left a ten foot drop, trapped our vehicles, rendering them useless and cut off the sewer and main gas pipe to our house. An explosion from the gas pipe was the main stress factor (I know that if either my husband or I smoked I would not be writing this story nor would the people in our immediate area be able to read this story). Get the picture. However that is not the stress of a possible explosion that I am writing about, remember that the stress I am writing about is money crunch stress. Obviously we survived thanks to many wonderful individuals that came to our aid. The aftermath was the money crunch. Insurance would not cover the damage. The city said it is not their problem. My husband and I know it needs to be fixed or we will have no vehicles to drive. This major, expensive repair is NOT in the budget, actually not even CLOSE to being in the budget. This is a money crunch.
Your money crunch may not be quite so dramatic, however in the times that we are in right now, I felt this to be a very appropriate subject and something that may come in handy. In fact, let’s start with something to diffuse the initial anxiety that flares up when you first hear about an unexpected expense. This can come in many shapes (pun definitely intended) and sizes. Coming home to find you used the wrong charge card for an expensive item (by wrong card I mean the one with the most percentage points, the one that went over the limit or the one they just upped the rate on), coming home to find the water heater exploded while you were at work, or the happy ones, your daughter comes home really excited because she was asked to the prom! All of these are unexpected bill expenses. When these occur please feel free to use the following shape. It is easy! Envision the shape on your forehead, right between your eyes. Now see one on each of your eyes, so you are looking through the shape. See the shape going through and coloring the situation. That will get you back into reality and allow you to deal with the situation from a clearer perspective. Money triggers are a biggie in the stress department.
This is the geometry.

Think or say to yourself. “the universe provides” and know that all that you need will be provided.
Obviously a money crunch involves many outside factors. Sometimes things are out of your control. Your company goes out of business or is suffering losses that effect your position. The crunch comes from nature. A hurricane, tornado or windstorm damage your car and home. Other times the crunch comes from our own addictions. Yes, addictions. Overspending, over buying, inefficiency and carelessness. It is the timeshare you just had to have. You couldn’t pass up that boat! Yes, you deserved that vacation. Credit cards with balances that overextended your budget.
Now you sit at your desk or dining room table and it is time to face the piper. The checkbook balance is dwindling, the saving account is dwindling and your stomach and physical body has a reaction. For some this is stress is added to by guilt and blame. Why did you buy that? What were you thinking? Buyer’s remorse can creep in and the thought of how are we going to afford this? This stress is completely different from cooking and driving. This stress is normally felt very physically for most people. Think about it…most relationships with significant others end or have problems because of money crunches. The stress created by the money crunch seeps into other areas because it is not fully recognized for what it is, it is not dismantled (neutralized, the zero point of no charge) and so the energy it creates manifests and joins other negative energies. Once these energies start combining it can create a snowball effect in your life. Disease, depression, chronic pain, anxiety, loss of sense of self…the list is endless. Stress related diseases like fibromyalgia, heart disease, ulcers, cancer and other manifestations can occur. Insanity is also a great escape. We call this going to “lala land”. Money crunch stress is complicated because the source of this anxiety deals with so many factors; our attitude towards money, self-esteem, the ability to manifest, the blame factor, the ability to accept responsibility, personal will, how our parents or other role models handled finances.
Understand that a whole book on finances would be necessary to cover all the possibilities and give you an array of different situations and solutions. Here, I will give you the shape to handle general discomfort when having to pay bills, writing the check or giving someone payment for a service rendered. This shape/color is about taking responsibility and feeling the relief of pressure. Removing the charges around this issue allow you to see with clarity the possible solutions and things you can do to bring the situation into focus with no charge, no triggers.
Procrastination will make it worse so the first order of business is to get motivated to a high degree, you are capable and willing and ready to get the job of paying the bills done. This shape will take out the procrastination, add the determination, give you the clarity and focus to look for viable solutions and make you feel worthy and appreciative of your life. From this position you are at that neutralized “zero point”. No triggers, no charges, just clarity, focus, determination and choices.
This is the geometry:
Place this shape above the area where you are paying or writing your bills. Feel the space filling with the energy of this shape. Allow the whole area to be filled with this shape. You can also emanate this shape into your computer (if you pay online) or place it on and into your checkbook. Also use this while you are shopping to prevent impulse buying.
Look back at the true wealth shape. True wealth is more than financial prosperity. It is also the wealth of emotional, physical, and creative prosperity in our lives. Uplifting and optimistic this will bring abundance into your life.
Go forth and prosper!
