Alison James:
Unconditional Love

The following is a brief extract on unconditional love from Chapter One: Merlin Man or Myth? from the book Merlin and the New Camelot by Alison L. James

Man has believed in his naïveté, and oftentimes arrogance, that he is the center of the world, that all in his environment has been under his direction and control. His idea of leadership has been self-centered and thus he failed to fathom, or refused to believe, that he is part of a Divine Plan working in accordance with the Laws of the Universe that operate throughout the Cosmos. Due to his “fallen” and controlling personal ego, he has often been unable to accept that the very air he breathes, the thoughts in his mind and the world all about him are a gift, a manifestation of the force of the Creator of All There Is. Yet he continues to benefit from forces at work beyond his control, including the Unconditional Love of the Universe, all the while thinking he is the cause and effect. As my earthly spiritual teacher, Derek O’Neill, says:

I am not the doer.

Unconditional Love knows no boundaries; it is the power of the Universe at work, the spark and driving force of all that we are and All That Is. An acceptance of Love and a return to being “Love” here on Earth is what the Ascension is all about. Love and Respect for all life forms is the very foundation of The New Camelot, the New Golden Age that we are building now, as it was for Merlin back then.

Utopia, or Nirvana, is an ideal, the establishment of the Divine upon Earth. While only the Supreme essence is perfect, humankind when imbued with the ideals of perfection may strive for excellence in thought, in action and most importantly in the heart. To be God-like or “good,” this is the ultimate goal for our lives here on Earth. If we cease to strive for excellence in all we do, we stop learning and evolution is halted through stagnation. As Merlin has told me, even the Ascended Masters are always learning. It continues for us in perpetuity.

Love brings Divine Right Order in all things. It replaces fear and doubt with hope and faith. In my own personal journey I have awakened to many truths being shared in these pages. As we espouse and work to establish the highest “God” ideals in our own lives, we play our part for the good of All. As I write here alongside Merlin, I assist him as much as he assists me. In other words, he is playing his part within the Universe to bring forth these truths to man, from above to below, and I am grounding them and sending them up. This results in an expansion above and below.

"Man has reached a milestone in his evolution where the ways of the past no longer serve him. Hatred, anger, fear, betrayal, resentment and war are emotions and energies that have served his growth in the past. The new world that he is bringing forth is based on Love. Man has been reaching for millennia for Higher Truths. Many have died and sacrificed their lives for the highest good of All.

Man is waking up. No longer may he renege on his right stewardship of the planet, but he will seek his rightful place within the Cosmos as a member of a caring, benevolent people where no man is of greater or lesser importance than himself. Everyone has a role to play. Man will embrace his duty to raise all of his brothers and sisters around the globe to a place of Love, Respect and Equality.

Such were the Truths that were espoused and grounded at Camelot. Today, the Ascended Masters and other Beings of Light seek to assist this global shift to a higher vibration of being in order to enable all mankind to release the bondage of the past and to create a New Golden Age of Light."
