Subtle Bodies Teachings

  Energy follows thought, energy also follows whatever laws you think apply. Scientifically, the way the energy flows, contracts, or expands is the primary force within a cell. Various cultures have tried to express the energy contained in and around the body with language referring to this energy as chakras, meridians and auras with interesting parallelisms; each have the same components including color, number, sound and sensation. One of the several different types of energy in the human body is subtle energy, which is the natural pulsation between full expansion and contraction. To have life in any form energy must be able to swing between these expansions and contractions. This energy in and around your body, whether defined by science or culture is the subtle force in your life that can assist you in creation or destruction. 

  Since the work of Einstein, physics has taught that matter is simply another form of energy. Through physics you learn that the molecules that once were thought solid are actually a compilation of particles, which are simply energetic vibrations. This means that your body is a bundle of vibrating energies and less solid than it appears to be.

  Much of what the mystics have taught about the make up of the energy patterns around your physical body is also being validated by discoveries from science. Humans have subtle bodies made up of energy patterns around the physical body. The physical and subtle bodies interact and changes in the energy of one field will affect the other (as above, so below). Dis-ease starts in the subtle bodies when a thought or emotional pattern triggers an energetic reaction. With time, persistent patterns contract the energy within the subtle bodies, creating blocks in your energy systems. If you cannot let go of the energy blocks, these blocks will affect the flow and function of your physical body leading to manifestation of dis-ease.

WEEK ONE TEACHING (2/21/12)  

Etheric Body:  1st layer of the aura associated with the 1st chakra. It extends ¼-2 inches beyond the physical body. This layer involves physical functioning and physical sensations of pain or pleasure, as well as automatic and autonomic functioning of the physical body. The vitality of your systems and organs is reflected in this subtle body. The etheric body is the repository of the life-force or vitality principle (variously called chi, ki, prana, etc) for the entire psycho-physical organism. It is composed of tiny beams of energy woven together to form a sparkling web of light.  It has the same structure as the physical body including all the anatomical parts and all of the organs. The physical structure is anchored in the Etheric structure so that the cells of the body grow along the lines of energy of the Etheric matrix.  It is in constant motion. Its color varies from light blue to gray. The chakras of this layer are the same light blue-gray color. This is one of the lower three bodies that metabolize energies related to the physical world.

Etheric Body Imbalances (orange) out of control: eats all other bodies, uses energies to exercise or begat disease, leaches from other bodies, drains all insights and intuition.
