Out with the Old - In with the New for 2012

In my Journey on the Spiritual Path, I have discovered only one or two Great Principles that I consider to be Immutable. One of those Great Truths is the Axiom, "AS ABOVE, SO BELOW. SO BELOW, AS ABOVE." Another way of expressing this Axiom is, "AS WITHIN, SO WITHOUT. SO WITHOUT, AS WITHIN." What this means is that there is a fundamental correspondence between our inner world and our outer world. You can observe this correlation simply by noticing how your environment impacts your consciousness. Notice where the Chi or Life Force Energy is stagnant in your home, car or office; then notice the effects stagnant Chi is producing in your life. If particular aspects of your environment have been stagnant for a while, you may not notice the detrimental effects they have been producing in your consciousness until after you make a change. Once you clear out these energies from your environment, you will likely notice a deep release and healing of old emotional baggage and belief systems.

That growing pile of unfiled papers on your office desk holds chords of energy that scream "unfinished business" – keeping you from attracting new and fulfilling work. The rubbish shoved just out of sight on the top shelf of your closet directly relates to things you don't want others to see about you and an inability to live a truly authentic life – "skeletons in the closet." Hoarding and not throwing things away blocks the flow in your life and halts your financial prosperity. Grandma's dishes that have accumulated 20 years of dust in that box in the basement are taking up space in consciousness and perpetuating core fears.

Mercury is currently in Retrograde until December 13 and goes Direct on December 14. Mercury Retrograde is like a runner taking a step back to gain Momentum. It is an excellent time to step back and assess what's working and what's not working in your life – and to do some "house cleaning."  Mercury Retrograde is the season for cleaning up and clearing out. Notice what's not working in your environment and use the auspicious energies of Planet Mercury to your advantage. Now is a great opportunity to practice greater impeccability in maintaining your surroundings. Mercury Retrograde makes this process easy & effortless! Allow the Planets to support you in living a more expanded life! When you clean up your environment, you clean up your life!  Simply by doing some clutter clearing, you can exponentially multiply your joy, happiness and success in 2012.

Here are some locations in which people commonly accumulate clutter and chaos, along with a description of the resulting metaphysical effects in their lives:

VEHICLE: Your car, truck or other means of transportation represents where you are going in life. A vehicle that is in need of repair or that is unkempt results in a lack of movement in your life's direction. Junk in the trunk represents burdens that are slowing your progress and keeping you from moving forward. Clear it, and accelerate your life!

UNDER THE BATHROOM SINK: The space under the bathroom sink relates to sexual healing. Clean up, and experience sexual freedom.

UNDER THE KITCHEN SINK: This space relates to healing issues with mother. Organize and renew your relationship with mom.

THE ATTIC: Mental clutter. Have a yard sale and think more clearly.

THE BASEMENT: Core issues that hold you in fear, pain and isolation. Donate to Goodwill and heal old programs!

UNDER THE BED: Programs that are "running you" at a subconscious level to which you have no conscious awareness. Clear it out and see yourself in a New Light!
